Looking at Anytime Minutes
When you select a wireless plan with MyWirelessRep, you will be asked to select a plan. The defining part of the plan will likely be what is called “Anytime Minutes”. This is another word for Peak minutes. In the Lightyear plans, Anytime Minutes are between 6:00 AM and 6:59 PM, Mondays through Friday. When you select a plan, you will notice that there are far more “Off Peak” minutes than Anytime Minutes.
For example, the most economical plan for $39.99 gives you 450 Anytime Minutes and 3000 Off Peak minutes. 450 minutes is about 7 and a half hours and 3000 minutes is 50 hours. So you can decide what works best for you. Do you make most of your calls during the Anytime Minutes hours range? Then a plan with more Anytime Minutes might be best for you. If not, you may get by with a more conservative plan and just rely on the off peak minutes. Or you could just not worry about it and get the unlimited plan!
