Life without a Cell Phone
What is it like? I know a lot of younger people who can’t remember life without a cellular phone. Mostly those people in their 20’s. The rest of us can remember. I am in my 50’s and I was trying to recall how I ever got along without a cell phone. I remember times where we were waiting for a call and had to re-arrange our schedules to be home just to answer the phone when we expected the call. And how mad we got when the so-and-so’s didn’t call when they were supposed to!
I would not trade in my cell phone ever. It’s easy to understand why a lot of people are trading in their land phones however. As spending dollars get tighter and tighter, people look for ways to free up dollars each month. Why pay a phone company $50 a month for a land line phone? It used to be a quality of voice issue, but nowadays the wireless carriers have done a lot of work to improve voice quality and they have. Lightyear Wireless has a conference quality service and in fact, the executives do use their wireless phone to hold those conference and training calls. Life without a cell phone? No thanks!
