Cell Phone Sales Still Strong
It seems the recession is dragging everything down, but not the cell phone market. At least not so far. According to this report from Wireless Week, 309 million units were sold in the U.S. Market during the 3rd quarter (July, August, and September). That’s up 6% from the same quarter last year. Apple is only in 7th place among phone manufacturers so despite all the hoopla over their iPhone product, it’s certainly not the best selling cellular phone product on the market.
