I don’t recall it as being particularly easy the last time I got a cell phone before joining Lightyear! It was a Verizon retail store. This one was right near a Costco so it was really crowded. First I had to wait for what seemed like a long time just to talk to a rep to get started. Then the process took a long time because he had to ask me all these questions, like the correct spelling of my name and my address. Or and can you please spell that street name Mr. Parker? Worse was when they asked me for my Social Security number and I had to read it out with all those people standing around. Talk about a recipe for identity theft! That’s what I call social insecurity. Oh and there was the all up-selling for maintenance programs and the dizzying array of accessories to consider. Well I think it took about 90 minutes in all by the time I got out of that place that day.
I was looking for a better way to buy wireless products and services. And I sure found it with Lightyear Wireless! I think the website took about 5 to 8 minutes to complete the process. And I didn’t have to speak out my sensitive information either!
