Meet Lightyear Prepaid Wireless

Well tonight we got the news on Lightyear Prepaid. I had hoped to have information sooner than this but the Lightyear execs were still wrapping up details at the end of last week. Here are the instructions for signing up.

Click on “Wireless Services”

Click on “Order Wireless Services”

Enter your Zip Code

You are then taken to a screen where you select Lightyear or Lightyear Pre Paid. Select the Pre Paid Option.

It shows two options: 200 minutes for $20 and 300 minutes for $30. That works out to 10 cents a minute.

There is an unadvertised option for unlimited minutes for $59.99. I have to send you a PDF application for that so if you are interested in that contact me at “homecellphonebiz@live.com”.

Minutes are per-month and must be repurchased each month in order to avoid having your phone deactivated. You must have at least 8 minutes remaining minutes on your account to make a call. You have an option to top off (add more minutes) during a month.

Minutes are “anytime minutes” meaning they are good anytime (no worrying about nights, weekends, etc). The Lightyear Pre Paid Wireless runs on the Sprint Wireless network.

When you get your phone, you will receive instructions on how to re-order the minutes. I’ll be posting more information as I have it.
